Wedding Band Kildare – Venues We Know

Flog the Dog have performed at weddings throughout Co. Kildare, from castles and country estates to some of the county’s best-known wedding hotels.

Over the last few years alone, we’ve played weddings at venues including Kilkea Castle, The K Club, Clanard Court Hotel, Barberstown Castle, The Keadeen Hotel, Moyvalley Hotel and Carton House.

Every venue has its own setup, atmosphere and flow to the evening. Having played across Kildare regularly, we know how important it is to work with the venue, read the room and build the night around the couple and their guests.

Wedding Venues We’ve Played in Kildare

  • Kilkea Castle

    Kilkea Castle is one of those venues that always feels like a proper occasion. We’ve played weddings here a number of times and the atmosphere is brilliant once the evening gets going, especially when the dance floor fills after dinner.

  • The K Club

    The K Club is a stunning setting for a wedding and always feels polished from the moment you arrive. From a band point of view, it’s a venue where the evening tends to flow really well and the crowd usually settles into the party quickly.

  • Clanard Court Hotel

    We know the Clanard Court well and have played weddings there many times over the years. It’s a great room for a live band, with a really good atmosphere once the dancing starts and plenty of space for a lively crowd.

  • Barberstown Castle

    Barberstown Castle has a brilliant mix of character and intimacy. It works really well for weddings where the couple wants a relaxed feel early in the evening before the room turns into a proper party later on.

  • The Keadeen Hotel

    The Keadeen is a venue we’ve played a number of times and it always has a strong wedding atmosphere. It’s a good setup for a live band and works particularly well when you have a crowd that wants to stay on the dance floor.

  • Moyvalley Hotel

    Moyvalley is another Kildare venue we’ve enjoyed playing. The space works well for a full evening of entertainment and gives us plenty of scope to build the night gradually from the first dance into the busier party section.

  • Carton House

    Carton House is one of the best-known wedding venues in Kildare and it always feels like a special place to play. The setting, the room and the overall flow of the evening make it a great fit for a live wedding band.
