Flog the Dog’s roots are in Kerry, and weddings here are still a regular part of our calendar. We’re now based in Co. Wicklow and travel nationwide, with Kerry remaining a county we return to time and again.

Ballygarry Estate, Great Southern Killarney, Ballyseede Castle and Killarney Oaks all feature repeatedly in our recent wedding history. These venues around Tralee and Killarney are a selection of places where we’ve performed, across estate, castle and hotel weddings.

Wedding Venues We’ve Played in Kerry

  • Ballygarry Estate

    We’ve played weddings at Ballygarry Estate near Tralee repeatedly in recent years. The estate provides separate spaces for ceremonies, drinks and the wedding meal, including The Lodge and The Pavilion. For the evening music, we can help you plan the first dance and the band-and-DJ handover alongside the schedule agreed with the venue.

  • Great Southern Killarney

    Great Southern Killarney is another regular venue in our Kerry wedding history. It is a historic hotel in the centre of Killarney, with a choice of spaces for celebrations. If you’re getting married here, let us know which room you’ve booked and the outline of your evening so we can discuss the live music around your plans.

  • Ballyseede Castle

    We’ve returned to Ballyseede Castle for weddings on several occasions. Its castle building, gardens and woodland create a distinct setting near Tralee. We can help you bring an Irish feel to the evening with live fiddle and trad, while making room for modern party favourites and the songs that matter to you.

  • Killarney Oaks

    Killarney Oaks is another venue we’ve played repeatedly in Killarney. Located on the Muckross Road near the national park, the hotel offers indoor and outdoor wedding spaces. For the main evening, we can talk through your first dance, the live set and optional DJ entertainment as one plan, with music chosen around you and your guests.
