Flog The Dog is an award winning Irish Wedding Band originally formed in Co. Kerry. Founded in 2011, the band began playing shows in Tralee, Killarney, and everywhere between. The band could be found playing shows every weekend in Scotts Hotel, Killarney. As the band became more and more popular, couples began to book the band for their wedding day. And as the old saying goes, that's how it all started! The band now plays across Ireland and is primarily based out of Leinster.

We play weddings across Munster, Leinster, Connacht and Northern Ireland, bringing lively sets and a great atmosphere to venues throughout those provinces. Please note we do not cover West Cork, Southwest Kerry, North Donegal, Northwest Mayo or Derry.

If you are looking for a top wedding band that plays a mix of everything then you have come to the right place. We play a wide variety of songs and our setlist is fully tailorable. With the fiddle as one of our main instruments, we like to 'Tradify' songs in our extensive set which makes us alternative and unique to most. We build a quick rapport with the crowd and always have guests on the dance floor for jiving, sets, waltzes, and classics that everyone loves.

After each show, we like to mingle with guests, and more often than not we receive compliments on the interaction with the crowd, that the music suited everyone and that we weren't loud, which for us is an important piece of feedback. We make sure we're never loud so that your guests can have a chat with friends and have a boogie for their own pleasure. We also like to include you and your guest to be a part of the show - everyone is included.
